I’ve read the Wubb. His stories are much better than the movies created from them. (I.E. Total Recall was from We Can Remember It For You Wholesale). His Red Book is really awesome too.

“At some past time point a variable was changed, reprogrammed as it were, and that because of this an alternative world branched off”. With zero knowledge of Philip K. Dick, can anyone provide further explanation/details of that statement? Did the man ever write or speak at more length, greater depth about what he meant there?
